Clear silent teardrops
guided by the winter breeze
. . . gleaming gems appear

  1. Especially a woman's tears are gems - Just count the tears we shed for those who don't really deserve it, and surely they can't afford it...

    Beautiful, thought-provoking haiga!

    Take care, Sannel :)

  2. Your haiga is so lovely, Sannel! As Martie has said, it is thought-provoking too. You would think you have been writing them for years but I am not surprised since you are such a gifted writer and have such a great love for nature. I hope we will be seeing more haiga from you especially if you can use your own beautiful photos like this one. Keep up the great work, dear friend!

  3. I see a spot on a wall,

    I fear not the warmth,

    of machines upon rooftop,

    those gems sparkle, eternity.

I had a quiet weekend. It was snowing most of the time. However, I understand it was snowing in your part of the world as well. I enjoyed very much your lovely snow angels.
    Blessings and hugs to you.
