Teardrops Upon My Stroll

As the gray sky sheds its tears
so does the window to my soul.
Sweet and salty drops intertwine
turning into puddles upon my stroll.

  1. A lovely and bittersweet rhyme, Sannel! The photo is perfect for it, of course. Let's hope that there are more tears of joy than sadness. It's great to see you writing again, my friend. Your lovely scribes have been missed. Thank you!

  2. Nostalgia seems to get hold of us on a rainy day. Sad but beautiful :)

  3. Dear Sannel,

Beautiful and bittersweet. The sun will soon dry up those puddles.

    Take care

  4. True story...it was a rainy, grey day yesterday...
Then about 4PM, a handsome stranger rang my doorbell and the sun came shining through the skies................
OMG...get your heads out of the rain gutter, ya'll

It was the UPS man with my copies of Melvin... Bad, bad kitty!

  6. Rick, thank you for those kind and much appreciated words. Your support means the world to me! And yes, most of my tears comes from the joy life brings us. How wonderful it is to be alive and enjoy the things I get to do, like writing.
    Thank you!

  7. Martie, dear friend, the rain has the ability to stir up the nostalgic feelings in me. Still I do love the rain, as long as it's not pouring constantly for weeks, then it's nerve-wracking.
My love and hugs to you,

    Sannel

  9. Dear Maria, oh you are too funny, lol! Here I thought it was the knight in shiny armor or something, and it was only the UPS man, lol. However, I'm so glad he brought Melvin with him. I hope you two will have some fun together.
Thank you for your sweet words, my sweet friend.
    Love and hugs,
